What We Believe

As a congregation we believe that the Bible is the infallible, inspired word of God.
We use the New International Version in our services, and we believe that God still speaks to us through the reading of, and preaching from, the Bible.

This is what we believe:

  • We believe in one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus is the eternal, Son of God who became a man.
In so doing He became fully human and never ceased to be fully God. Jesus lived the perfect life and died at Calvary as the perfect sacrifice for all. In doing this he paid the price, in full, for our sin.
After three days he rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven.
If we turn away from our sins, and trust in Jesus death and resurrection, we can be set free from our sins and receive eternal (everlasting) life.
  • One day (we don't know when) Jesus will come again (his Second Coming and the Day of Judgement). On that day everyone will have to give an account of what they have done with their lives.
